Ty Sebastian - Receives Softball Canada Award

The WOAA would like to extend congratulations to Ty Sebastian from Brussels. Ty was a Co-Op Student at the WOAA office this past winter and is the recipient of the Softball Canada Claude Deschampe Memorial Fund announced last week in Calgary at the Softball Canada Congress 2012 Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet

Ty Sebastian has just recently begun his first year of a Business Degree at Lambton College located in Sarnia, Ontario. He won a Gold medal at the U19 Men's Canadian Fastpitch Championship in Fredericton, NB in 2011 and was named Top Player of the Championship Round. This past summer, he competed at the U21 Men's Canadian Championship and was named to the tournament All-Star Team.

Ty has recently returned from Argentina as a member of Team Canada for the ISF Junior Men's Fastball Championship.
